Gary Weissberg
Gary has over 30 years experience in product innovation, development, sales and marketing. With his talent for identifying new market and product niches and implementing innovative ideas, he has earned a well-deserved reputation as a visionary in the consumer electronics and advanced LED lighting industries.
After graduating from California State University Long Beach, Gary brought his enthusiasm for audio and consumer electronics to Sanyo Electric Corp as Director of Product Development and later to Radio Shack as Director of Merchandising.
In the past decade, Gary became interested in advanced LED lighting and other green technologies, particularly those that involve the marine industry. In his current role of Senior Vice President of ClearTech, Gary focuses much of this time on creating new markets and product development.
Gary has a wide range of international and domestic sourcing and marketing experience in wholesale, retail and OEM/ODM product placement. James Tiffany
Jim started in the image business with the Eastman Kodak Company. Interest in multiple image displays lead to the opportunity to bring "VideoWalls" into the market with Electrosonic Systems. As technology advanced really large screen computer images were brought to market under the Hughes Aircraft lightvalve brand. Currently, he has been bringing the large LED screen displays and lighting to customers in commercial marine and retail markets.

Grant has 31-year experience in consumer electronics and retail industry focused on technology, business development and global marketing strategies, product sourcing, product development, and turning technology into successful products at retail.
Grant’s expertise include sales and marketing of unique consumer electronics to top retailers in North America, Latin America, and Asia, product innovation and development, knowledge and contacts with key ODM players, OEM customers as well as expert knowledge in international logistics, contract negotiations, industrial design, packaging, and marketing strategy for consumer electronics.
During the past three years Grant also has been consulting for Powermat, Ltd. as VP of New Business Initiatives helping this startup company launch their magnetic induction wireless charger products to market and become a major force in retailing and marketing wireless power technology at major retailers and developing business with major OEM/ODM players.
During the past four years, Grant has been serving as EVP of Worldwide Operations for Arkados, a small semiconductor company, responsible for business development, sales, and marketing for chips and product designed around power line communication technology based on HomePlug standard and IEEE 1901 Powerline standard. Ogata was also instrumental in Arkados successfully completing the selling of semiconductor assets to ST Microelectronics, a top 5 semiconductor company in the world in 2011.
Until 2006, Grant served 27 years at RadioShack Corporation with over 4,500 retail stores in the U.S. as Vice President of Global Sourcing and Product Development. His responsibilities included overseeing staff of over 200, developing sourcing and retailing strategies for over 1,500 private label products that generated over $1.2 billion in revenue and $600 million on gross profit, overseeing all the direct sourcing products from Asia and managing offices in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai, China including a six-year expatriate assignment in Asia based in Tokyo working with major manufacturers and retailers in Japan, Korea, and Greater China.
Grant currently serves as a board member of Consumer Electronic Association’s (CEA) Accessories Division as well as a member of the CEA R6.3 Wireless Power Working Group, and has in past served as a board member of CEA’s Home Networking and Information Technology division as well as the Chairman of HomePlug’s Powerline Alliance for Command and Control Working Group. Ogata also served on the Board of Advisors for Wilife, successful IP surveillance camera company based on HomePlug technology later acquired by Logitech International.

Barbara attended UCLA. She spent over 20 years working as a designer and overseeing the product development and production. After spending most of those years overseas, working in Italy, Spain, Brazil, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, she changed careers and began rewriting owner’s manuals from Chinese consumer electronics manufacturers. Combining her design and writing skills with her engineering training she developed a niche market creating “user-friendly product manuals”. She has successfully consulted with a wide range of clients for the past 10 years. Barbara’s unusually full background of successful history as designer and product manager provides a unique perspective for each project she undertakes.
